You can request deletion of personal information held by Web28Tech through any of the methods below. This page is the public User Data Deletion Instructions URL for the Web28Tech Bot Meta app.
Option 1: WhatsApp
- Open the Web28Tech WhatsApp conversation.
- Send the exact words DELETE MY DATA.
- An authorised team member will acknowledge the request and may ask you to complete a limited verification step.
Option 2: Email
- Email info@web28tech.co.za.
- Use the subject Web28Tech Bot data deletion request.
- State which channel you used to contact us and provide the relevant WhatsApp number or email address so we can locate the correct records.
What happens next
- We acknowledge and verify the request so that another person cannot delete your information.
- We locate information in Web28Tech-controlled bot, sales and support systems.
- We delete or irreversibly anonymise information that we are not legally required or entitled to retain.
- We ordinarily complete the request within 30 calendar days and confirm the outcome.
Information that may be retained
We may retain limited records where required for tax, accounting, contract, fraud-prevention, dispute or other legal purposes. A minimal hashed suppression record may also be retained to make sure we continue to respect a direct-marketing opt-out. We will explain any applicable exception.
Meta and client-controlled information
This process deletes information controlled by Web28Tech. Meta/WhatsApp and a Web28Tech business client may hold separate copies under their own policies. If the information belongs to a client-run service, we will direct the request to the relevant responsible party or assist it as its operator.
